Food Fun PartY

Learn where your food comes from. Learn about growing herbs and vegetables, including what grows in our area and eating local, fresh food. Each child will:

• Plant the herb or vegetable he or she chooses in a sippy cup or fountain cup keepsake planter

• Decorate the cup with permanent marker, glue and crafts materials

• Take home the best party favor ever: the child's own potted plant, with instructions for its care (windowsill or replanted in a garden) and a recipe using the chosen herb or vegetable--on a page customized with the party name
  

Fun with Flowers PartY

Learn about growing  and using flowers. Discover what grows in our area and when.  Get a lesson in basic flower arranging--simple enough for any age child. Each child will:

• Plant the flower seeds that he or she chooses in a sippy cup or fountain cup keepsake planter
  

• Decorate the cup with permanent marker, glue and crafts materials

• Take home the best party favor ever: the child's own potted plant, with instructions for its care (windowsill or replanted in a garden) on a page customized with the party name
